Our Mission Statement

Sketchboard Co. is an artist-run nonprofit based in the Bay Area. Our mission is to curate empowering opportunities through eclectic programming for our intergenerational community of creatives, centered through a BIPOC and queer lens.

We cultivate inclusive, compassionate spaces where artists of all backgrounds can collaborate, learn, and lead. By prioritizing accessibility, diversity, mentorship, and community-led decision making, we support sustainable creative practices, amplify underrepresented voices, and foster cultural exchange across generations.

Through workshops, exhibitions, and public events, Sketchboard Co. has built a sense of belonging that nurture artistic growth, celebrate identity, and advance equity in the arts.
